Explains and documents the impact of environmental and geographic factors on the effective implementation of renewable energy technologies for cooking, lighting and electricity

Provide support to identify, establish and maintain links with relevant organizations to assess the need and implementation plan for renewable energy sources

Develops roadmap for the application of renewable energy technology

Support with the design of specific projects and pilot energy for cooking, lighting and powering, including renewable energy, with a view towards enhancing self-reliance, education and protection.

Assist with the coordination with government and NGO partners to implement an appropriate renewable energy strategy and technologies that promote sustainable energy consumption and production, make efficient use of natural resources and ensure safety (such as IREDA)

Designs technology roadmaps for renewable technologies, Guides internal capacity building on the knowledge and expertise of renewable energy technologies

Leads implementation of renewable energy technology

Presents policy and programme development to promote the implementation of renewable energy for cooking, lighting and electricity

Cultivates channels between all key stakeholders and promotes the sharing of information and collaterals on energy-related activities.

Anticipates challenges for renewable energy keeping in mind scaling-up strategies and how systems will how with changes in conditions and operations

Promotes working relations with other ministries for implementation of multi-sectoral links renewable energy programmes such as Ministry of Health
